I think at some point Stanford and Cal will return. ACC is a really bad fit for them. Travel costs will kill them.

You're right about it being a horrible fit and travel costs most likely being unbearable. However, I just can't see those 2 with their academic arrogance ever associating with the schools that will be in the Pac-12..i.e. Fresno State / San Diego St. etc. They were always the barrier with Pac-12 expansion as they only wanted to associate with certain types of schools.

Not sure where they go, and they may be forced to hold their nose and deal with it, but I just don't see it anytime soon.

The real answer is the exit money. Oregon state and Wash state got a bunch of cash for keeping the PAC 12 surviving didn't really matter the form it was in

And it’s not clear how they’re going to get an 8th football team or who it will be.

it’s time for the Bison to make the step up and for the Fargo Dome to get out in the video game

Fresno State has won a title this millennium and is Aaron Judge’s Alma mater. Wazzu has a decent baseball history too.

Not a terrible baseball conference.
