Nah, he won a championship, TM7 was kicked off the team. What Cam (or his father) never impacted team as they lost 0 scholarships or games

It absolutely isn't. He was called to the carpet by Les, booted off the team, shamed in the media and decried by fans. He has taken his comeuppance and is now trying to move past it, please explain how that is wrong in any way.

If this was a Bama player, ZERO LSU fans would be saying the same thing. They would all be making negative remarks about how he will do it again in the NFL and how he should not even be getting the chance.

Zero LSU fans, except for you because you're high and mighty. Actually, most wouldn't give two shits about whether some Bama player got kicked off the team and made it to the combine. And why would they feel the need to support an opposing player anyway? It makes no sense.

2. I hope he succeeds because I like him. So what?

3. Couldn't care less was happens to Bama players

i was talking about his multiple cheatings at Florida, including fricking over his classmate + robbery, etc. He got his next chance at Auburn

if this same case was duplicated at let's say Alabama, would you be saying that you were glad this player got his life back on track?

This is just dumb

WTF?

It's giving a kid a pass to think it would be good if he could turn his career around?

Do you hope everyone who breaks the rules or acts selfishly should never accomplish anything?

Well it isn't like TM7 didn't have chances.... Suspended, allowed back, held out, allowed back, kicked off team, was gonna be allowed back but he screwed up again....

Damien James had several opportunities under Saban as well before finally getting kicked off the team.

However, point remains LSU fans pick and choose who they support. Some players who screw up LSU fans will hate them till death, others the fans want to give multiple chances. Doesn't make a lot of sense but that is why it is the rant

Someone has to be a pretty shitty person to not want someone to escape drugs and get their life in order just bc of where they played football

1. I selfishly just want to get to see the guy on a football field again. He was just fun as all hell to watch.

2. He talks about losing LSU like it legitimately hurt him. He says the kind of things a lot of the die hard fans would feel if LSU got taken away from them. He doesn't talk about it like a program.

3. He never once got in trouble with the law before being kicked off the team, which a lot of people still kinda feel is bullshite.

Only fans that give this guy a pass are the ones that basically give every person who happens to play ball at LSU a pass on pretty mych anything they do.
Does the term "team sweep" ring a bell?
It's that mentality.. most are prob in highschool or college and have zero clue what accountability, leadership and maturity means.. I suspect as they get older and mature they'll change their tune on the old honey badger.

Every LSU fan that I know look at this guy as a waste of talent and embarrassment to the school.
B/c factually that's exactly what he is.

it wasn't taken away from, he made a choice to do an activity he knew was illegal. (Doesn't matter your opinion on it, it is still illegal currently)
He was given chances to come back and couldn't/didn't want to take advantage of them

same with Cam Newton. His career at Florida was similar to TM7's except Honey Badger was actually famous.

LSU was not taken from TM, he gave it up with a series of very poor decisions. If he had so much LSU in his heart he wouldn't of let his teammates, coaches, or fans down by participating in illegal activities to put his career at LSU in jeopardy.

We have no idea if he wasted his talents or not yet. He fricked up at LSU, but he also brought with him the national spotlight, a Heisman spotlight, and a lot of success in huge moments

I don't give him a pass. He is no longer affiliated with this university and I hope it stays that way. Whether I wish him well or not won't change the fact that he's a colossal screwup and he will continue to fail at life.

He doesn't. They all complain how he effed LSU which is completely untrue. If anything Les Miles has repeatedly effed LSU over, but he didnt smoke weed so it's all Mathieu's fault.
