How about at the coin toss in Tiger Stadium, Chris Spielman spitting in Eric Andolsek's face? That game ended in a 13-13 tie and OSU was the dirtiest team I'd ever seen that game up to then in that venue? (Ironically, ND was almost as dirty coming here)
Fast forward to the first decade of this century and they invaded this website talking shite to all SEC fans, right before they got their asses handed to them by UF and LSU in the BCS NC games?

Much of my family is from Ohio and PA, mostly Northeast Ohio in that state. I’ve been up there countless times. I’ll rep LSU and have nothing more than playful banter if it comes up.

I dislike Alabama, the Texas and Mississippi schools above all. I know a lot of non douchey Ohio State fans but their message board fans are as bad as ours.

My attitude about Ohio State fans has changed a good bit after being around more of them. They definitely aren't southern, but most of them aren't really what we would think of as "northerners" either. Michigan has a lot of that too.
Penn State's fanbase is what a lot of people view Ohio State's fanbase as being because they have so many students from New Jersey, Philly, and New York.

It goes way back. I first encountered their fans at the Citrus Bowl in 93 when they had Herbstreit and Eddie George. They were the most shite talking tailgating fans I had ever been around. Think a mid-western version of LSU fans at a LSU home game with a 7:00 kick. I was glad UGA ruined their trip.

They're arguably the most underachieving program in my lifetime, and that's including if they win the natty next week. Their fans as a whole should tone it down instead of attempting to be bullies.
The B1G benefited from the same kind of bias in the 90s that the SEC has at times the last 20 years without the hardware. Now they're having a revival recently, but the difference is one conference has had numerous winners while the other has 2 programs that can win a title outside of the one year Penn State got screwed ('94??).

Unless you are really young, that would be 3 titles for OSU in your lifetime. That’s the same as LSU for lots of fans on here. When I think of underachieving, I think Texas or Texas A&M. And up until last year, Michigan.

As an A&M fan, I know they're just a top 20 program at best that has a good season once or twice a decade. The school in Austin has been just another good program more than half my lifetime, so I don't have them in the same level of expectations as the Buckeyes. Obviously they still have a high ceiling that they occasionally break through.
Ohio State has had the kind of talent on par or better with Alabama in my lifetime with so much less hardware. They should be THE standard instead of just a top program most years. The fact they never won natty in the 90s amazes me, but Michigan had their number often.
