Because they wanted to be so progressive with putting grass on top of the press boxes/suites because that's green or whatever.

It looks like they were trying to transport Candlestick but they lost half of it on the trip so they had to just throw some other shite up.

I do like how the suites are only on one side so the “nosebleeds” are closer to the field but the stadium does look weird
