My argument is what the CFP committee has always said. They look for the 4 best teams based on resume
Ok but the committee has also said that head to head is part of the resume, perhaps most important when things are otherwise equal

Just like you you’re not even going to try to address the tcu-Michigan game last year.
The TCU/Mich result was irrelevant to my argument that 10-2 Bama, with two close end of game losses on the road against two quality SEC teams, had a better resume than TCU who didn’t even win their shitty conference and had a shite non-con schedule. My argument was basically that the SEC is so much better than the Big 12, you cant automatically put a 1 loss Big 12 team higher than a 2 loss SEC team.
I was proven right when SEC representative Georgia beat TCU 65-7.

You mean lik where the Playoff Committees FIRST CHARGE stated we must look at the whole season like they do in Basketball. By te way, to hell with Texas, FSU, Oregon and Wash. are not top 10 teams, its a joke looking at those teams who have played on the weak PAC 12 and Weak ACC where UK just beat a 10-1 Louisville. Just like injuries in Basketball, FSU without their QB is a scrub team whom Florida should have beat.
Anyone comparing the SEC vs any of those conferences is lu lu.Big Ten, got two teams in last year, both got beat.

Does this look like “otherwise equal,” or can you say that one team clearly has a better resume and therefore there is no need to go to any “tiebreaker” type rules?
Team A: 3 top 15 wins, 1 loss to a one-loss team
Team B: 1 top 15 win, 1 loss to a two-loss team

In a world where irrelevant means proven that it was complete shite, then yes the result of that game was very irrelevant to your argument.

What was the score of the tcu-Michigan game?

You just mean that you don’t like that when people consider the whole resume, they aren’t giving absurdly more weight to the result of one game that favors team B when the complete resume clearly shows that team A had a better season. And you don’t like that because of some subjective feeling of “what’s fair” while not considering the unfairness of your methodology.
My argument puts the results of head to head above subjective rankings of who they played. I can’t think of a more “fair” methodology than having seen an actual game with an actual result.

So OU over Texas.

Bama fans melting already is so glorious. I want this scenario to happen just to taste the delicious tears. Bama got away with so many extra shots they didn’t deserve they can’t handle not getting the special treatment.
Roll tears Roll.
Roll tears Roll.

I hate Bama, not that it should matter.
Regardless of who your team is, we can all agree Team A has the better resume.
Team A: 3 top 15 wins, 1 loss to a one-loss team
Team B: 1 top 15 win, 1 loss to a two-loss team

Yes when rankings are completely subjective, those resumes are as equal as can be.

Damn only one way to find out, they should play each other

Where do you have 11-1 James Madison in your CFP rankings?

As Phil Hartman playing Ed McMahon would say, 'You are correct sir!'
