then consider the ones(like myself) born in 88-92ish who were too young to remember any of the good times. or at least in great detail. I chuckle when the term bandwagon gets thrown out there. what a terrible fricking bandwagon to be on

The Monroe area hasn't shown Dallas over New Orleans since the mid 80s.

I live in Virginia and there are Dallas fans everywhere. When the Redskins aren't on, Dallas is.

Back in 1997, I went to a Saints/Cowboys scrimmage at the Independence Bowl and there were far more Cowboys fans there than Saints fans.

Back in the day, the 60's and 70's we had two CBS channels. One out of Beaumont and the other out of Lafayette so you had both the Cowboys and Saints. It was easy to be a Cowboy fan because they won, the Saints not so much. I hated the Cowboys and guess what, still do.

The Saints have won “The Battle of Shreveport” for two straight years.

Saints have been on in Shreveport 32 times (not counting playoff games) since 2017, while the Cowboys have been on 28 times.

At one time Dallas and Atlanta were the only NFL teams in the deep south. That is the reason I became a Cowboy fan back in 63.

Id love to see the results of a Saints pre 09 trivia quiz administered to the resident board "die hards."

I see a LOT of people I went to junior high/high school with who were Cowboys fans then and are magically Saints fans now. What a coincidence!

Shreveport is only technically Louisiana

the funny part is people say this like its a bad thing, Shreveport could have been Dallas if not for the corrupt politicians in Baton Rouge and New Orleans who destroyed any chance at a functioning state government.
