I don't think that Rubio was what they were talking about when the rumours came up that they were Gonna deal One of their young guys. Dieng maybe but Rubio is probably the oldest of their rotational players.

I just don't think it would be smart to do that right now. Let these dudes grow. I'd turn it over to Dunn, take their lumps now. They have lead in most of their games. Thibs needs to chill his arse out and look at the big picture. He is still sitting on a gold mine.

Rubio.
You'd think after all this time, he would just learn. Pay someone to teach him.

They are both 21...you don't deal either IMO. You deal Rubio and possibly Dieng. The young pups will be fine. This year doesn't matter. If we have learned anything from OKC, it's not to panic and blow up a young core for role players.
or be like dell demps, trade away all your picks and future pieces for players who have pretty much maxed out and are more or less one dimensional.
Holiday - 2 1st rounders (medical/training staff somehow didn't figure out he was damaged goods...). He's well rounded, but he's not a dynamic game changer.
Evans - gave up depth and starting center (Lopez). One dimensional, can't shoot, poor team defender.
Asik - 1 1st rounder to fix the loss of Lopez (I actually don't mind this as much as most people). One dimensional, all defense, barely any offense.

Yea that's the issue he's not a guy who you'd think would have the most patience.

Anything that starts off with "or be like dell demps" is an instant f no

To be fair Dunn is just as bad I've heard a few diff scouts say Dunn may not even be a lottery pick if he were in this years upcoming draft. 5th or 6th best PG.

issue was his stroke in college and its still the same issue now.
everything else is just as advertised, he's a guy if you can let him work on his shooting for 2-3 more years and play the '4th' fiddle on their team, he can be a 45/35/75 guy who averages 15/6/6

I was told by the MSB that they had a decent shot at the playoffs and would be in the WCF within 3 years.
NBA offseason is so awesome lol.
ETA: i was also told KAT would be a darkhorse MVP candidate

I think they just signed Dieng to an extension. Thibs seems to be a fan.

Probably would be smart if them to go ahead and unload Wiggins to OKC..............

Curious to see which one of the young studs they deal. Gotta be Lavine IMO. Although wiggins could fetch a nice return. He's awfully one dimensonal.
You keep Wiggins as he still has star potential. Lavine is the interesting case and the one you deal. While he does some nice things in the court, his game doesn't really fit in with KAT and Wiggins. Correct me if I am wring, but I don't think Lavune has been rather efficient this year as well. His bball IQ just isn't there. He can not run p.g. as he was terrible at it the past two seasons.

Rubio has been hurt, for a while. Dunn is good but not ready yet. Townes while good is not shaq level good and a year away he still really hasnt figired
They really need rubio hes vital. Wolves lead the nba in first half points. They struggle closing games out without rubio running things which is why it's a classic fantasy stat nerd type move to,move him. They don't need shite they just aren't ready yet

Youth, Lack of quality depth, and experience. Great young nucleus who are learning on the go. How many teams are in the league being led by a trio of guys who are under 22? They bring Tyus Jones and Dunn off the bench. Dunn is older than KAT, Lavine, and Wiggins by the way. Nikola Pekovic's contract($12 million per) continues to hurt them as well. They are getting NOTHING in return

Bunch of individual talent that doesn't play well together as a team.
They remind me of those young Clippers teams from the early 2000's: Lamar Odom, Q-Rich, Darius Miles, etc...

The Wolves were so fricking stupid in the 2009 draft. I understood them taking Rubio, but they should have moved on a long time ago. They also wasted a high pick on Flynn.
