Oooh look, you said FAKERS. It's like combining the word FAKE with LAKERS to make a word that means the Lakers are fake.

HOW GENIUS!!!

And yes...if healthy...they would be

How come nobody calls out the "fans" of the Heat for jumping on their bandwagon just like most of the players on the team did?

Were all heat "fans" cavalier fans before lebron jumped ship?

Who were they fans of before lebron came along? The Bulls?

I was never much of a Lebron fan. I always rooted against Cleveland.

I didn't hate him, but I just didn't care for him.

Then, after everyone started hating on him for going to Miami, I changed my tune. I started to root for him.

All I could think to myself was, "Why do people hate him now? He is smart with his money, he does great work in the community, he takes care of his children, and he doesn't get arrested. Leave the dude alone."

Now, I hope Lebron wins 9 more titles.

I just can't believe that THIS year he is starting this thread.
Well of course he does it now.

The Heat didn't even win it in year 1. I ain't looking, but I'd be willing to bet he said the Heat would lose in the Finals last year. if he didn't say it, you sure as hell knew he was thinking it, especially considering how he was all over Durant's nuts as the next guy in line for Kobe to pass the torch too LOL. Just another one of his great posts, Durant>Lebron

They had the 3rd or so best record in the league this year before the streak. There was nothing to ever suggest winning was sooooooo easy like he claims NOW.

But then they go on this streak, and NOW he knew all along that it would be soooooooo easy.

I just don't see the fun in following around whoever the best player at the time is and rooting for whatever team that may be

Let's keep in mind that this is the same guy who refused to show himself after Game 1 of last year's finals.

I grew up with basketball as my number 1 sport. I didn't have a team and I grew up in BR. So idc about the hornets because they weren't even in NOLA growing up.

I've always been an individual player fan. I loved Shaq and the Lakers and when he went to the heat I hated the Lakers and liked the Heat.

I always liked Lebron even in HS. Now I'm a Lebron fan and my favorite team is purely based on who he plays for.

And I don't see anything wrong with that, as I didn't grow up with any team to root for.

So if/when lebrons contract expires and lets just say he signs with the bobcats, you would then be a bobcat fan?

What about when he retires? Will you just find another superstar to pull for?
