So if you have Burrow #1, where does Brady fit into that list?

Anybody that has Rodgers or Favre over Brees just doesn't like him for personal reasons. There is no argument for either over Brees.

wtf is up with the over rating of Elway on this board. he was never even close to the best qb in his conference much less the whole league.

There are a lot of arguments to have Rodgers over Brees. The only arguments for Brees currently are volume stats accrued over a much longer career at this point. If you don't think there are arguments, then it's because you just don't want to hear them.

Rodgers has

Higher passer rating, td%, int %, and YPA

He also has more All pros and MVPs

You sure there is no argument?

He is top 5. Played in 5 Super Bowls and won 2. His final NFL game he was SB MVP. He would kill it in today's game.

Rogers has lead the NFL in TDs 2 times
Drew has done it 4 times

Rogers has never lead the NFL in passing yards. Ever
Drew has done it 7 times.

“But Rogers is so accurate he never throws interceptions”

Rogers has lead the NFL in passing comp% 1 times.
Drew has done it 6 times.

Rogers doesn’t throw picks. That’s his thing. He’s a productive QB who does make bad throws. But I would argue Drew has always had to do more to win.

Exactly

There is a great argument for both as of right now.

Rodgers has the higher ceiling/level of play. But Brees has done it for longer. It's a great question, do you want that higher ceiling, or do you want a slightly lower season but still super elite and 5 additional seasons.

And obviously, every additional season Rodgers plays from here on out just closes that gap and lessens the argument for Brees, assuming Rodgers is still playing at a high level.

He's pretty easily the most overrated player I've ever seen.

I always see the argument about him willing those shitty early DEN teams to the Super Bowl. Then I go and check the actual facts, and passing was the actual weakest link on a couple of those Super Bowl teams lol. The run game and defense were ranked higher than the passing, but somehow people say he did it all himself. It's weird

Rodgers is

2nd in career passer rating (Brees is 5)
7th in career TD% (Brees is 27)
1st in career INT% (Brees is 22)
10th in yards per attempt (Brees is 22)
2nd in adjusted YPA (Brees is 7)

Rodgers has 3 MVP awards to Brees' 0. Rodgers has 4 1st team all-pro to Brees' 1. The both have been to 2 super bowls and have won 1.

Like I said, Brees has the volume stats and has played longer. Brees spent 19 years as a starter. Rodgers has only been a starter for 14 thus far.

And I never said there is "no argument" for Brees, just that to say there is no argument for Rodgers is dumb because it is dumb to say that
quote:

“But Rogers is so accurate he never throws interceptions”

Rogers has lead the NFL in passing comp% 1 times.
Drew has done it 6 times.

Aaron Rodgers has thrown INTs at a lower rate than any QB in NFL history and about 1/3 as many as Brees. I'd say he's pretty good at not turning the ball over

quote:

Rogers has never lead the NFL in passing yards. Ever
Drew has done it 7 times.

He's never led the league in passing attempts in a season either. Brees has done it 4 times. Rodgers throws more yards per attempt than Brees, however

quote:

Rogers has lead the NFL in TDs 2 times
Drew has done it 4 times

Rodgers has led the league in TD% 4 times, Brees once
