Athletes are permitted to use any substance before, after, and even during competitions.
At the weightlifting finals, Sergey Akmov of the Soviet Union is preparing to lift. His trainer mentioned that he is using anabolic steroids, Novocaine, Nyquil, Darvon, and a fish paralyzer
