Ricky still rushed for over 10k, yet everyone seems to forget that. And you are out of your mind about Priest

He is still the measuring stick young backs are compared to at OSU.

Jesus. tOSU had Eddie George, a Heisman winner and a hall of fame RB yet y'all still worship and compare young RBs to the crack dealers? Must be really upstanding citizens y'all are recruiting.

Manziel was never going to be great or good in the NFL. Evans saved his arse more times than not.

No, if he were as talented as the legends say he wouldn't have averaged 3 yards a carry

Marcus Dupree.

He was Hershel Walker and Bo Jackson combined.

A lot of people type LOL when they read ridiculous statements.

I literally laughed out loud reading this.

He was nowhere near as good as either of these legends.

Where do some of you get your sports history information? Those stupid ESPN documentaries???

Nah, I saw him play. Not everyone on the internet is 15 years old, pawpaw.

My opinion, but melt about it if you want. He did break Walker’s TD record coming out of high school and lit it up when Switzer let him play his freshman year.

Look at their 1982 stats:

Dupree, true freshman, 163 rushes, 1393 yards, 8.5 ypc, 12 TDs
Walker, junior, 335 rushes, 1752 yards, 5.2 ypc, 16 TDs
Jackson, true freshman, 127 rushes, 829 yards, 6.5 ypc, 9 TDs

Yeah, easily the most wasted talent and he was right up there with Walker and Jackson with talent. Did he have their work ethic? No, not close.

The real answer is Marcus Allen.

By his boss.

Thanks Al for benching him during his prime for 4 years over a personal grudge.

He still made the HOF in spite of you.
