This is close when you consider his production while playing in Cleveland...!

Some of those players you mentioned are pieces of shite. They can blame themselves for that waste of talent. The problem in alot of those players was that they thought they were above the rules because alot of people treated them as God's because of their athletic talent. Well it got them nowhere when they weren't on the football field.

I really hope that if this question is asked again in 5 years we aren't talking about how the Colts got Andrew Luck killed

My personal opinion would be Quincy Carter

So... they were a waste of football talent.

Megatron

He dominated when he played but that dude could’ve rewritten record books. And he just walked away in his prime.

Holmes was a very good player.

So was LJ. He had a shorter than average career because he racked up a lot of carries. He had 457 touches in 2006...that's basically using him up faster.

As previously mentioned, Joe Don Looney is the correct answer.

You can't force a tremendous athlete to play football. It's impossible. They have to want it, or it will never happen.

Meh. Great HS player. Decent college player. Not much more than that.

Never heard of him.

If you mean Todd Marinovich, he was a marginal talent.

Ricky Williams and Mike Vick are all Time college greats that had very good pro careers. Hard to call that a waste

wut?

Holmes was an UDFA and was an all pro for couple of seasons. That’s pretty much the opposite of “wasting” talent no?

Marcus Dupree.

He was Hershel Walker and Bo Jackson combined. Barry Switzer fricked him up as well as handlers who tried to take advantage of Dupree.

Cecil Collins- i doubt many people outside of Louisiana actually know how unbelievable he was at RB.

Just stop it with this bullshite. The dude averaged like 3 yards a carry in the NFL and scored a whopping 3 touchdowns at LSU.

Meh, he tried.

It just turns out he was really fricking slow.

Good college player given the right circumstances but was never gonna be an NFL star.

He was drafted 3 years (?) after playing any competitive football. Of course he wasn't going to work out, everybody but the Broncos saw that.

He is still the measuring stick young backs are compared to at OSU.
