Um, because this thread doesn't apply to him.

Good one. I'll add Ryan Leaf Trung Candidate Billy Joe Hobert Troy Williamson

The Seahawks were going to draft a QB with their 1st round pick (#16 overall) they were looking at two QBs in particular. Their choice McGwire would throw 2 career TD pass, the other guy would throw 508.

Trolling Aggies?

542 yards in 8 games in his single season w/ the Lions. I'm guessing he broke a few tackles.

He averaged 38 yards per game that year. He was worthless.

Tony Mandarich. The hype over him coming out of college was unreal. He was drafted ahead of Dion and Barry Sanders, iirc.

Came here to post Mandarich

You're counting 6 games he didn't play in? OK. By that standard I was a really horrific running back for Detroit last year.

Robbie Grossman. Don't know why he is with the Astros and Springer is still in the minors (yeah, I do know about the contract issue, but still, sheesh) !

Danny Ainge as a baseball player. Dude was fricking awful. Or Rick Ankiel as a relief pitcher...he threw more balls to the screen or in the dugout than to the catcher's mitt.

Again no

I'd argue that Aminu/Steimsma are way way worse and they're on his own team.

Rivers has shown quality development this season and has played very well in limited time.

It's clear some of you haven't watched him this year.

The answer is Shawn Bradley.

Can't really blame him for the monstars stealing his talent.

Manute Bol was much much worse.

Ok so this answer will ruffle feathers, but Terrell Owens.

He wasn't CLOSE to the worst pro athlete I've ever seen, but I think he's the most overrated WR in recent memory. Pretty positive he has the NFL record for most dropped passes all time. People called this guy an elite WR and he had terrible hands.

Wrong thread to bring his name up, but I just want to make sure the history books don't forget this guy's flaws. Team cancer, baby, and pass dropper.
