I have nothing against Davis. I like him as a player, but considering him the next best option in the league to Lebron is silly.

I'd want my franchise player to be an impact player on both ends. Durant is the only exception.
Love would be tempting. He's such a unique talent. His defense is just sub-par.
George is a lock-down defender and can take over a game on offense (see Knicks OT last night)
I wouldn't choose a PG over Davis, George, Durant, Lebron. These guys have shown to be elite talents with any PG next to them.

decent talent on that team and they're still not moving very far.
