Yes, I understand he was being a homer.

So? Do you think its a fluke?

I think he is one of many young talented players.

The reason his PER is so high is because he fills up the stat sheet in a lot of ways.

And, along with his talent, a reason he fills up the stat sheet is because he is the best player on a mediocre team with so so talent.

I have nothing against Davis. I like him as a player, but considering him the next best option in the league to Lebron is silly.

Love, George, Paul, and Westbrook are guys that I love but not so sure I take any of them over Davis.

I'd want my franchise player to be an impact player on both ends. Durant is the only exception.

Love would be tempting. He's such a unique talent. His defense is just sub-par.

George is a lock-down defender and can take over a game on offense (see Knicks OT last night)

I wouldn't choose a PG over Davis, George, Durant, Lebron. These guys have shown to be elite talents with any PG next to them.

decent talent on that team and they're still not moving very far.

I'm not taking any PG over lebron, durant, AD, paul george, or kevin love to start my team though.

The OP was a bit confusing at first, but I think people understand now.

Getting interesting feedback on AD.

He needs to work on his shot selection, takes too many long twos and his midrange jumper isn't good enough for that

lulz

Guess we should mention Damian Lillard too if we are looking for inefficient PGs who shoot way too much

No, why would we?

Statistically, he's no better than Ty Lawson, Jeff Teague, Mike Conley, John Wall, etc.

I mean, if we are talking players that are in the same conversation with Anthony Davis, I think you are right we should mention him.

AD is a solid player so far... but can he be one of those players who can take over a game? Like Dirk did to the Rockets last night?

We'll have to wait and see.
