It's pretty hilarious seeing you guys drop the playoff argument when it makes Howard look good. Marc Gasol, the supposed best center in the league has shot a pathetic under 40% in his last 18 playoff games. Period.

Player A: 18.8 points, 9.28 rebounds, 1.38 blocks, 39.9% shooting (18 games)
Player B: 18.9 points, 13.9 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, 56.6% shooting (23 games)
Who does Player B play down low with?

This board always uses emotions to pick the better player. Dont let it rustle you. MSB is like 13 year old girls inviting people to their birthday party when it comes to picking the "best players"

Player B is Dwight Howard, the actual best center in the NBA.

All player B can do is dunk which is why his % is higher.
Also why not add assist to your stats?

Neither of them. I will take whichever European the Spurs roll out to play Center.

Because we are talking about centers, nitwit.

Dwight is a homosexual is the word on the street. I would NOT want to be rubbing meat with that so gimme Gasol.

So assists don't count for centers?
Posted on 9/4/15 at 1:35 pm to rawDAWG333
Dwight is the more talented player. I think no one can really deny that.
But given his injury history and the intangibles factor, I just wouldn't want Dwight on my team. Ever. I'd rather focus on other positions and roll with an adequate Center than have Dwight.
Its just a personal preference. He IS a good, talented player. I just wouldn't want him on my team.

Why not mention 3 point percentage of minutes played!!

Swagger,
You suffering from little penis syndrome or something?

So assists don't count for centers?
So you are talking about 2 or so assists per game more. And it's not like assisting is super important for a center like it might be for a guard.
So Gasol has worse stats across the board, and you want to focus on a couple assists.
Posted on 9/4/15 at 1:45 pm to PRIMETIME M0NEY
Gasol averages 4.5 assists.
Howard averages 1.5 assists.
That means Gasol creates 6+ more points per game for his team than Dwight.
So yeah. Kind of important.

Playoffs.
Gasol-4.5
Howard-1.2
So I'm talking about 3 per game. Assists are pretty important for Marc. He rather pass the ball than shoot it most of the time.

Didn't even think about that.

But not sure if it makes up for the blocks, rebound, and FG% difference.

Why would I want a guy who can't play when there's 4-5 minutes left of a close game? frick that.
