Eli doesn’t belong in the Hall of Fame but his name will get him there.

That and his 2 SB wins against the NFL's greatest dynasty.

Baker

In 1975 Baker had Terry Felton at QB (MLB pitcher), and Hokie Gajan, LeRoid Jones, and LeRoyal Jones at RB. Trumaine Johnson was on the JV team at WR and went on to be Doug Williams favorite target at Grambling and played 4 years in the NFL. Somehow they didn't win a playoff game.

Damaris Johnson from the ‘08 state championship team had an impressive college career at Tusla. He broke national records in just 3 seasons. Played in the NFL for a while too

I think we’re talking about different people. Not the baseball player, but the NFL pro bowl receiver went to St Aug

Aug and it ain't even close

34 players in the NFL vs. 11 for Destrehan

Well for one it says top level athletes in the title. So nobody from St Aug on that list holds a candle to Ed or Justin at the NFL level TM7 is the closest but not close enough. Number 2 Estrahan had more than 11 so the website is wrong. They are around 20ish on players. Number 3 I played in the Catholic league. St Aug never struck fear in any teams hearts in the league when I played and hell even after. They are a typical 6-4 or 7-3 team. They might have that occasional player but they are always a one trick pony. No team ball whatsoever. Especially when they hired that idiot from south plaquemines whose son went to Bama and did nothing.

The greatest High School Basketball Player
from Louisiana was from St. Augustine, but he never played in the NBA, instead he had
a very fulfilling career selling Women's Shoes; Harold Griff Sylvester.

Don’t forget about his Oscar worthy role in the classic film “Fast Break”

None of those were ever the national Gatorade player of the year. randy livingston was the best to come out of high school PERIOD...

Next time think before you fully demonstrate how retarded you are. Keep thinking….
And Randy Livingston was not better these or the ones that left Bob P, Willis R, Karl M, Robert P., Don Chaney, Joe Dumars (he would have KILLED HIM defensively ask Jordan), Paul Millsap, Chris Dujon.

There were several that moved as kids like Bill Russell, Clyde Drexler, Rashard Lewis, TJ Ford, and on and on.

The Chief was the all time leading scorer in high school history for a long time. To say that Randy Livingston is the best (Period) discounts lots of great players.

Sure, Randy was great in high school. But his skills didn’t translate, although I wish we could have seen what he had. I still remember that knee buckling and it made me sick to my stomach. I think Perry McDonald was the best I’ve personally ever seen. And I watched Livingston a ton.
