Jewett was a terrible hire, I always thought they should have hired former alum Andy Canizarro when he was at LSU before Miss St hired him. But oh well, maybe it was for the better after he got in trouble. I think they have a solid hire right now.

His decision making is puzzling sometimes. However, no one can question how tough he is.

As a Tulane fan, I don’t think we’ll ever know his ceiling until he gets to a NFL camp with decent receivers and a O-Line that gives him more than “Two Mississippi” before getting crushed.

LSU is too chicken shite to play Tulane. They know they'll get that arse beat.

Ryan Griffin is on year 10 of getting NFL checks (think mostly practice squad) so maybe?

IMO, Uhlman is Jewett 2.0. Tulane Administration failed to do a serious search and hire the best HC available. Instead, they promoted from within and gave the Asst coach the HC title. Obviously to prevent the whole team from leaving via the transfer portal. Uhlman was able to re-recruit Banks and Linn in returning, hut losing Groff will hurt. I wish Tulane the best as it's great when Louisiana schools succeed and make it to Omaha.

Tulane tried to hurt LSU’s recruiting, especially in the NO area, with lies and dirty tricks.

you really cannot say that ...

because the is so much talent in the state of Louisiana, that you can just toss a rock and you've hit talent

but just keep bitchn' about talent if that's all you got

Re the comment that the weenies should have hired AC, it's always been my understanding that he was not even given an interview?

Yeah, the a-hole guy that was AD at the time did not give an interview to him like you're saying, I guess. All I know is the clown used the excuse of that Canizarro was too popular and that anyone that was well recommended that much by the locals can't be a good hire. I remember him saying something like that the moron, he's an out of towner. But he blew it with his stubbornness, I don't know if he's still there.

To answer your question think Pratt could be considered for a 6th or 7th round flyer. Would not mind seeing him transfer his last year to a P5. He would have a ton of interest.

Looks like Tulane going to Louisiana's #2 Spot overtaking UL-L who lost to Rice 33-21....and Louisiana Tech (lost to Mizzou & Clemson by 4 TD's)
