Rebounds are usually an intentional act. In fact, I don't know how one accidentally gets a rebound.
Oh

Goat brook chasing his dumb triple doubles reminds me of Brees ruining the Saints draft position every year to get his dumb fricking 5000 yards

i don't know, i'd be the first to call BS on something, but it looks like westbrook is playing hard and going for the ball.

Think what you want, but it's clear I'm right.

The shitposting bar just keeps climbing higher

quote:Nope. It can't be that a player is going for a rebound with 6 other players nearby becuase he is trying to win the game. Clearly it must have been to get a triple double. That's the only logical conclusion.

Yes, I do. It happens, but there was more to that post then the first line. Maybe you skipped over that part. Of course you did. You act as if I posted a one liner and ran off. The rest was pure information about that whole ordeal.
From what I remembered was that it was all about negotiating for Harden to stay in OKC for the long-haul. It was essentially free-agency before he was a free-agent, because of how rookie contract extensions go after 3 years.
But, whatever.

It is so strange.
It's almost like Westbrook truly cares more about the MVP than anything team related.
I don't get it

I've been screaming it all year. Russ and his teammates have all developed habits that completely go against winning basketball games in the name of getting him his triple double and MVP.
gonna just honestly say, the second KD said I'm leaving from top down the organization and fans gave up on winning a championship.
They know they won't contend, their roster is way too flawed, and GSW is way too stacked. Even teams like Cleveland and SA have more firepower than them. They only cared about getting past this season, westbrook gave it to them.

It has to be anger knowing they will not win a ring this year and the MVP (which many here guarenteed to Harden over and over) would somewhat soften the blow.

I agree. I just don't know where they go from here. Just be content with Westbrook's stats and low playoff seedings?

You saying that the Thunder didn't want to pay Harden isn't news. Everyone knows this.
You saying that the Thunder didn't trade Harden is news. No one knows that.

Haralabob made that point yesterday. Once KD left, OKC said frick it, let's at least be entertaining.

Right?
Youngest team in the playoffs. Now that they have a full offseason, they can change the roster to a post KD time, which wasn't possible last year.
Will be an interesting summer. Really like some of these young pieces though. Abrines and Grant. Of course Adams.

Why do you trade a player? Most of the time it is because you don't want him anymore. They were forced to trade him because he was going to walk after the following summer seeing that he could make more money for a different team. It was a FORCED trade. I was insinuating that it wasn't a trade they wanted to do, but was forced into doing.
That is what many don't know. I guarantee you most don't know that.
They don't know why he was going to walk either. He was still going to be the sixth man. He could make more money elsewhere.
I was wrong saying they didn't trade him, but what I rant. I always rant. It is my style. I hate on an informal forum relegating myself to the whims of you technical technocrats looking over everything I write to make sure it sounds perfect and looks perfect.
I should have clarified that "although he was traded, it wasn't close to what OKC wanted, and the whole ordeal was more in line with a free-agency signing". Which it was.
