Was the OL at Clemson good enough to make Lawrence look good against ACC teams. I know LSU made him look bad in 2019, but he played pretty well in college.
Was his High School that much better than the teams he played in high school? Did they have an OL that didn't allow pressure on him?
I thought he was a can't miss NFL guy watching him in high school.

Through his soph yr. And then he has a ton of talent at WR ..I say he peaked as a soph. I get why the c Jags got him. Your a losing franchise and you pass on TL.. You get crushed as a non serious team. Hes a great guy but he's not a NFL leader

I've seen him play HS and wondered how he got a scholarship to Bama. I saw him throw passes in the dirt while in Tuscaloosa. But I saw him develop ...and throw passes (that were elite /like receivers werent expecting it because they thought they were covered but Mac put it in their hands.
TLaw has the press out of HS, and all through college but... I didn't think he's act better relatively than he Soph yr. Maybe neither of them get Jax going but the perception that Trevor is still the answer, the golden boy etc is talking head puffery based off his early yrs in college Max Jones was a better QB at the end of college

Fact is, Mac Jones won't start over TLaw unless he gets hurt or TLaw starts stringing together Bryce Young-esque stat lines.
