When are we gonna see what they see in JJ McCarthy?

He turned around and handed the ball and his loaded defense carried him to national championship in college. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)….then he is picked high and they still rave about him. I’m not sure he has ever been in a passing offense before like at all. Almost a project like Anthony Richardson except he is better than him on brains alone

Harbaugh is partly to blame. But most of these NFL GMs are dumbasses.

But he has sweet eye black and meditates where everyone can see him.

I think Aaron Brooks was a better QB than this a-hole. I’ve got Justin Jefferson on my fantasy team and McCarthy is fricking killing him. Almost no points. frick this clown arse QB!

Caleb Williams isnt much better.

Why is Harbaugh partly to blame? If you’re relying on someone else’s word about a prospect then you haven’t done your due diligence. This guy never showed anything in college to deserve the hype he received.

He’s white and can run, put him in the game Coach

When are we gonna see you just posting the game thread instead of starting threads with every thought you have

You think a pro football team drafted a QB because his college coach recommended him
Dunning-Kruger is about people like you

You musta missed the part where I responded to a guy saying Harbaugh is to blame.. my point is how tf is Harbaugh to blame? Can’t think of any reason where he would shoulder any of the blame.. I was making an obviously absurd statement to question how the original statement could be the case.

I think you hit your limit on starting threads, 10 threads ago

Of course Harbaugh isn’t to blame but you also suggested the Vikings didn’t do their “due diligence” and that McCarthy didn’t show anything in college to “deserve the hype”. Sam Darnold showed nothing in his 6year Pro career before working with this exact same staff. Maybe, just maybe they know than you and all the other message board experts

I’m not actually saying any of that though haha. For Harbaugh to be of any blame what I said would have to be true. But I don’t believe Harbaugh is to blame and I don’t think the Vikings didn’t do their due diligence. I guess I didn’t articulate that very well.

If you meant the opposite I apologize but the way you stated he did nothing in college to deserve the hype threw me off
Most people take the easy position that everyone (except the QB from their school of course) will bust and history shows most do, they then think that “proves” the pros don’t know what they are doing and the message board gurus are “right” but they are only right in the same way a broken clock is right twice a day. The reality is it’s very hard to play QB in the NFL especially at a high level. However given what’s happened recently in Minnesota Keenum, Cousins, Darnold all succeeded to one degree or another I’ll take their evaluation on JJ McCarthy over the Bozos on here
