I don’t get the Patriots hate either. They’ve been clearly the team of the century so far

At one point in the past LSU fans nicknamed New England, LSU north. Well, apparently, that’s no longer the case. That’s what’s weird to me.

I know it’s a Louisiana board but sheesh. The Pats have had a great run and the jealously is over-the-top as of late with Saints fans. The Saints are having a great year. No need to talk down on a team that has 6 Super Bowls including last year. You guys just have to prove Drew Brees’ worth for some reason even though everyone knows he is great.

It’s honestly weird.

Nah, it's just the bandwagon fans that use lame words like "jealousy" or "hater". I don't hate the Patriots; I'm just ready for other teams to win, if my team isn't. The Patriots bandwagon is far more annoying than the team itself.

why should anyone like the patriots?

are you serious?

their HC is highly unlikable, they have been caught cheating multiple times, and they play in a horrible division. (i realize not their fault)

brady is constantly called goat, bc of superbowls.. yet he's lost about as many as he has won.. they always have the easiest path there.

switch brady and brees and brees wins just as many, if not more super bowls.

does brady even win 1 super bowl in new orleans? doubtful.

To suggest the Pats have gotten a bad rap on this board is hilarious.

Brilliant, could not have said it better myself. Most people can't think for themselves. I'm an Aggie/Bengals/Reds/Pacers fan. I live in Kentucky, and I have seen numerous Patriots "fans". You would be amazed at how many Warriors/Bama/Duke/Yankees/Patriots fans there are in Kentucky.

I don't hate the Patriots. In fact. I have liked many of their players over the years

Their coach is a piece of shite though

They cheat repeatedly. Belichick should have gotten the Pete rose treatment after the rams Super Bowl.

Saints fan here, and the only teams I truly hate are the Falcons and 49ers.

The Pats have never made a Super Bowl when having to play in the Wild Card round. Lucky for them, they play in the equivalent of the Sun Belt conference, practically a guaranteed win against half their schedule, giving them a Division winner, a bye and homefield most years.

Everyone dates a dynasty but people starting threads constantly about how great they are and fawning over their Qb with GOAT in title is a big help

Not really. It all comes back to “everyone loves an underdog”.

People (not patriot fans) are tired of seeing 1 team dominate, same as Bama. You have to respect them for what they have done but at the same time can despise them for their success.

Clemson became the new darling by beating Bama but they are quickly losing some of their charm because of Dabo’s whining.

Also factor in ALL of the “cheating” controversies involving the Patriots and that adds to the “hatred” of the Pats.
