Around 9 players just declared for the "portal" ?

Anybody have a clue?

I don't think that's too far above the median for most teams given the extra year and immediate eligibility?

Do you know which players they are, and their position on the team? I'd assume since there's an extra year of eligibility, teams will have more players leave due to the incoming class. Just my guess though.

OR

Lincoln Riley is taking a job somewhere else? Unlikely, but maybe.

His name hasn't come up in any NFL searches yet.

Nothing impactful other than depth.
The unexpected departures that will hurt were for the draft.

Yeah that's why I think it's unlikely he's leaving.

Was Rambo not figuring to be in the rotation? That was the only name that jumped out to me, granted I haven’t gotten to watch much OU last year. Maybe I’m just remembering him from the Bama game

he was supposed to be THE GUY this year. And started out that way. Then he just fizzled out.

Exactly. A lot of these guys are going to end up in a worse situation then they are leaving.

Sounds like the players really being hurt by the added eligibility year+insane portal numbers are the 2021 high school kids.

Nothing is going on at OU. This should be addition by subtraction. OU has long been held back by being unwilling to process kids the way schools like LSU and Alabama do. That is finally (hopefully) changing.
