I don't know why you so quickly attack such people. It's a big business, lot of money on the line, and insane amounts being gambled on these outcomes. It's ripe for fixing. If people will fix college basketball games, wouldn't they do that with the NFL?

I don't see why their skepticism is such a concern.

Not really. I’d venture to say that the State Farm Commercials have really made
Reid out to be a lovable oaf who likes to draw fake mustaches on people and con them out of fast food. Mahomes seems
to be a likable guy.

The disdain seems to come purely from the poli-cessed snowflakes who got their panties in a wad because Kelce did an ad for Pfizer, and then he wound up dating someone who dared to say she wouldn’t vote for their Dear Leader.

The owner, Clark Hunt is a decent man and he doesn't shy away from giving the Lord the glory for the team's success. Mahomes is not ashamed to give praise to the Lord either when the team wins a championship. Kansas City and Chiefs fans are great too, go to a Chiefs game and visit the downtown area a day before the game and you will receive great hospitality. I think it's a good thing the Chiefs from a MAGA Red state ripped the collective hearts out of a fan base from Woke San Fransicko

Pfizer and Moloch were the real winners here.

I don’t know if it was scripted but let’s just say Taylor swift does not get shown all year, become the talk, fly in from Tokyo etc to be shown after a chiefs loss. In my minds eye I knew what the outcome was, we all did

I'd think they wouldn't wait to bring the fix in at 9 seconds left in overtime, but that's just me.

How was the game scripted?

Actually thought the Chiefs got boned on a couple spots last night. And the holding penalty to extend the drive in OT was just a gift to the Niners..

That being said, maybe I’m just old and cynical, but with the whole Taylor Swift thing, Niners stupidly taking the ball first in OT, kicker just ramming an extra point into the back of the line, it all just felt scripted. But maybe I’m old and cynical. I did have $100 on the Chiefs ML though, so at least my cynicism won me some money

Well where is all the people who said SF would win because they are the superior team. And no way the NFL is rigged, they would never do something like that? Brainless zombies you people are.

when the ball hit Luder on the leg on that punt return and KC recovered.

The Chiefs winning? What does the NFL gain by the Chiefs winning? Or what happens if the Chiefs lost with Taylor there? What difference does it make? They kept showing her because she brought 5 million more eyeballs to the tv that normally isn’t there. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less.

So what does the outcome have to do with Taylor and how does it benefit the NFL when they already had her at the game. That’s all they wanted out of her.

You just answered your own question. You ask what the NFL has to gain and then you say how showing Swift brings 5 million more eyes. Do you know how advertising works? And FWIW I think Swift brings more than 5 million extra eyes. The NFL will do whatever they can to keep and Swift and Kelce together and the Chiefs will be gifted wins until they split. Too much money at stake.

The eyes were already on the game regardless of the outcome. There’s a difference here between swift putting eyes on the game and the outcome.

Even if the 49ers won the game, the same amount of people were watching.

They are playing the long game. It benefits them 100% to have the Chiefs win the SB and keep interest at peak high rolling into next year. It’s not hard to understand.

They think it's not as obvious that way.
