I believe yesterday was the worst loss of Belichick's career. Mac Jones is a bust.

Is he less talented than Brock Purdy?

When he steps into his throws no, but Mac gets scared extremely quick and is throwing off his back foot in okay pockets. He just does not have the arm strength to do that. When he was in his rookie year, he was stepping into passes and making great decisions. Now it feels like he's panicking and just doing idiotic shite with the football. He was never going to be a top 5 QB, but I think it's fair to say the Patriots kind of bungled that whole situation and did not put him in the best scenario to succeed.

I feel like I am reading a report on David Carr, though his pocket was definitely subpar with the Texans.

He's going to be given the rest of the year to figure it out

The next two weeks Saints and Raiders then they've got Bills and Dolphins. If they're 1-7 or 2-6 got a hard time believing he'll make it to Thanksgiving.

Mac and Bill hate each other, it’s time to move on. Pats have a dogshit roster on offense, Mac can wheel and deal but he’s reliant on talent. He’s not the type of QB who turns average receivers into good players.

Who are you putting in there, Zappe? He may have a slightly stronger arm but he's short.

He did last year. Not like Mac's done much to clearly separate himself.

That and giving him Matt Patricia (a defensive coordinator) as his offensive coordinator in the second season of his career probably hurt his development.

Still possibly the most mindblowing HC moves I've ever seen

It's replacing meh with even more meh. Zappe was almost unplayable last year once teams figured out they could tip most of his passes.

He isn't a good QB but he doesn't have much if any help. How's that Juju contract looking? Good thing they gave Zeke a contract instead of Hopkins. The main problem is Belichick's drafting.

Theres zero reason to think this. He had one great season in college where he had an elite OC & the best WR corp in the country. He should never have gone in the first round.

Mac Jones is just one of the latest laughably bad skill position draft picks Belichick has made over the last decade.

Is he any worse than Burrow this season?

Y’all hate him cuz he had the best college season of all time. Bama always rent free

These guys don’t know you don’t go to BAMA and do what Mac did without being talented. Look at Tua now that he has weapons. Max in Cinci would be MVP candidate

They let Jakobi Meyers walk only to offer JuJu the same contract. Terribly head scratching move

Editing to add Jakobi got a bit more from the Raiders but he’s head and shoulders above Juju
