One of mine has to be seeing the Baltimore Ravens take out the Denver Broncos in the playoffs last year... The miserable part wasn't losing itself, but how we managed to completely frick that game up... It literally took a fluke play to even keep.. frick it, we all know what happened. That was a miserable/depressing day...

Thankfully, we got our little bit of revenge.

Final game of the 1983 season. Saints lose to the Rams on the final play of the game and miss what would have been their first ever playoffs. Then a bunch of teams lost in the next 5 minutes and the Rams made the playoffs too.

I was 13. My first traumatic sports moment. I cried like a baby.

The Saints-Niners playoff game.

That was such a bizarre game to watch. Saints turned it over like crazy in the first half, and of course the no-call helmet to helmet on PT put a damper on things early. Saints then get going in the second half with long TDs to both Sproles and Graham. I honestly thought after the Graham go-ahead TD that it was in the bag. Then Alex Smith, Vernon Davis and Gregg Williams drive down the length of the field to win at the last second. I was freaking sick after that game. That team would've waltzed to a ring. Substantially better than the 09 squad.

I actually don't mind the Championship game. Heck, it was the final game and we just won not long ago.

2003 would have hurt had we lost because it had been almost 50 years without a Ship.

I think one of the most depressing events was watching a top 10 LSU in the rain lose to Miami of Ohio.

The Saints first playoff loss hurt. So exciting to finally get their and boom all over.

Same with our next trip.

The 1984 Cubs choking away Game 5 of the NLCS was very depressing. The 84 Cubs was the first MLB team I really loved. When you choke to the Padres, you're pretty low on the food chain. I still hate Steve fricking Garvey. And Leon Durham.

They were better than the Bartman team.
