Little kid when Ben McDonald gave up the grand slam with 2 outs in the 9th.

LSU Arkansas in 2007, had been in Oxford the week before when we destroyed the rebels.

Saints lost to 49ers, after the BCS title game.

Losing to Florida 41-14 in the MNC. Never took a loss that hard and never will again, its what all other sports related heartbreaks are measured against. I'd have to think of the other two, but they aren't even close.

Yep.

Even when the Raiders got beatdown by Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl I wasn't really that upset because I knew Callahan was running Gruden's entire system and Gruden knew it inside and out, so I could see how they got stomped there. It's hard to think of a second.

Edit: Now that I think of it, "Tuck Rule" game is second. So damn close, then the most obscure rule in NFL history is revealed. I do think the Raiders would have won the Super Bowl that year.

Jan of 2012 as a whole just sucked

Also that bears NFC title game was brutal.

The Vikings playoff game in the 80s. I was 6 and just thought the saints were basically supposed to win. Then that shite happened.

97 World Series. I was 10 years old and it was the only time I cried after a loss. So.Damn.Close.

1. 1/9/12. I left the bar early, abandoning my friends and my girlfriend, and cried on the subway on the way home.
2. 2007 Arkansas. I came home and went to that game, and I was sure that our fate was sealed.
3. Saints-Bears NFC Championship game. All that buildup and dreams dashed.
4. 2002 LSU-Alabama, the 31-0 game. I was a Senior in high school, set on LSU, and I remember that was the first time I really felt down about a loss. When I attended the 1999 loss to Houston I didn't really understand the ramifications, but that blowout by Alabama had me depressed all weekend.
5. Last year's loss that knocked the Nationals out of the playoffs. Again, a lot of buildup, and a 7 run lead (I think?) eliminated all too quickly.

1996 Players Championship. Still haunts me to this day, no way would I of thought he would of made that last putt. I had big money on the other guy, he was legit and cut throat and going for that first gold jacket.

I give him props though, I mean he played it as it lies, but hell to hit it off VW, onto a Subway sign, through 4-5 tubes and shoots out and rolls into the hole. Even god damn Lee Trevino was rattled. And all this after a freak injury.

It was the end of an era that sad day, never really ever heard much from Shooter after that terrible day, might of been him trying to steal the jacket and getting beat down by 50 angry fans and a giant beast of a man. But who really knows, he just really lost his his game after that.

My first LSU game. Shaun Alexander went wild on LSU.

I used to get really pissed after Super Fly Jimmy Snuca would get beat after being sooooo close against Mr. Perfect.

Marshawn Lynch's earthquake run in Seattle in the 2010 playoffs was the worst for me.

2nd is 1/9

The roars of Rammer Jammer while walking out of the Dome still echo in my mind.

I remember walking out and some Asian bama fan asked me for my ticket, told him to go f himself

Head to head contact to PT lost us that game.

Probably a low point for me sports-wise. All in the span of one month:

-Hornets trade Chris Paul to the Clippers
-LSU lays a gigantic turd in the BCSNCG against a team they already beat
-Vernon fricking Davis. The Saints would have arse-blasted the Giants in the Dome the next week.

1/9...It was the way they lost and to who they lost with what was at stake. That LSU team would've been out up there with the all time greatest teams.

49ers/Saints playoff game....90 seconds from hosting the NFC Championship against a team we had blown out just weeks before. They would've won the Super Bowl.

2007 LSU/Arkansas

2012 LSU/Bama

2006 LSU/Auburn

2006 Saints/Bears

I'm picturing an Asian Harvey Updyke. "Row Damn Ride."
