What was a game your team lost that caused you to hate the other team to this day?

In 1995, they are 2 teams that I hate still to this day even though the players from that time are gone.

LINK
Green Bay packers when they beat the 49ers in the 1995 playoffs. I hated Brett Favre with a passion after that always knocking out my team every year in the playoffs until Terrell Owens made that hell of a catch to win the game in 1998 but we were past our prime. I still hate the packers especially with Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback lol.

LINK
Houston Rockets when they ruined the Orlando Magic’s chance at a championship in 1995 after getting passed Michael Jordan and the bulls. Game 1 was a knife to the heart with Nick Anderson missing all those free throws at the end but the Rockets made the plays to win the game in overtime. Magic ended up getting swept and Shaq left after the following season. I still hate them and always pull against them.

I would still be sick if I was a Kentucky fan after that.

Probably didn’t help that they pulled another one out of their arse just four years later.

LSU vs Texas in the Cotton Bowl. I was only 20 and pretty indifferent to Texas at the time, but we got some tix to the game and went.

And holy crap those UT fans were the worst. It wasn't so much losing that made me hate them, but the hubris and douchebaggery of those fans made me hate them for life.

I heard the same thing from Saints fans who went to Chicago when they played the Bears in the playoffs. They said some freaked up stuff to them after hurricane Katrina.

Wisconsin basketball in the NCAA tourney Sweet Sixteen circa 2000 was horrible.

I hate BadgerBall but that game helped expose how bad John Brady was as a coach and that he basically had the kids out there doing street ball rather than do anything but recruit.

Same thing happened about 4-5 years later when the Tyrus Thomas / Glen Davis team made up of a bunch of kids who had played together in BREC forever went to the Final Four and got stomped by UCLA. Brady was incapable of making adjustments and telling kids how to defeat the other team’s scheme.

I fondly remember that game. People didn't think the plodding white guys from Wisconsin could handle the athleticism of LSU. And then they completely shut them down. I can see how frustrating it would be but damn they played amazing D that tourney.

2006 Florida. Got embarassed in the mythical national championship football title game and lost in the NCAA Basketball title game.

Here is a snapshot of our frustration: YouTube

Came here to post the Bears. My aunt and uncle were at that game. The hateful things Bears fans said to them made me despise that organization and the city of Chicago as a whole.
