Lol I only listed Jones because he was a top pick, has some hype and because I can’t name another Duke football player.

Jamison Crowder is a solid slot WR from the Blue Devils. I remember him smoking the A&M secondary in a bowl game vs Johnny Football.

Yes it is. Only six out of the top 20 position players with the most fWAR over the last two seasons attended college.

What an arbitrary stat.

Maybe I’m an idiot, but I read it as active since OP mentions the players being ‘in’ the leagues.

The players rank their peers each year. Saying they're top 20 player in the NFL is not a stretch by any imagination.

OBJ:
2019 - 23rd
2017 - 8th

Peterson
2018 - 23rd
2017 - 18th

Kinsler transferred to Mizzou because of him

Which one of those guys is better than the player listed for LSU?

Since Pedroia is hurt if were talking a current active player, its Jason Kipnis, Kole Calhoun, Merril Kelly, or Mike Leake.

Not a ton of great options.

School’s best MLB, NFL, NBA player.

I guess Georgia Tech can roll with:

MLB - Teixeira (hon. mention to Kevin Brown and Varitek)
NBA - Bosh (hon. mention to Mark Price)
NFL - Calvin (hon. mention to Pat Swilling. we do have two hall of famers but i don't think anyone would know them so i'll leave them out)

Michigan would have a good one also. Barry Larkin or Jeter, Chris Webber, Tom Brady

Jeter never enrolled at UM and got drafted out of high school.

TCU:

NFL: Sammy Baugh, Bob Lilly, L.Tomlinson
MLB: Matt Carpenter, Jake Arrietta
NBA: Kurt Thomas

They've had some guys with some staying power at the highest level. Thomas/Carpenter/Baugh Pro Seasons Played (combined) = 42+

So it's hard to find 6 people in a population of 20?

UCLA all-time is pretty solid:

Kareem
Jackie Robinson
Johnathan Ogden or Aikman

All-Time?

It's probably UCLA.

Kareem - maybe the greatest ever
Jackie Robinson - one of the greatest ever
Troy Aikmen or Jonathan Ogden both HOFers
