School’s best MLB, NFL, NBA player.

I got to thinking, for LSU it would likely be Bregman, OBJ (arguments could be made for Peterson or Adams), Simmons.

All 3 guys are top 20 players in their sport. That’s gotta be one of the better ones out there, can anyone else think of some other schools that would have a standout trio?

LSU’s is definitely stout.

Not saying this is an elite trio, but just a list for my school.

NFL - Xavien Howard
NBA - Taurean Prince
MLB - Max Muncy

UT’s isn’t bad.

MLB - Brandon Belt
NBA- Kevin Durant
NFL - Earl Thomas

Duke

MLB - Marcus Stroman
NBA - Kyrie Irving
NFL - Daniel Jones

Not the best, but here's Mississippi State's all time trio:

MLB: Rafael Palmeiro
NFL: Fletcher Cox
NBA: Bailey Howell

Current:
MLB: Mitch Moreland/Hunter Renfroe
NFL: Fletcher Cox/Dak Prescott
NBA: Rodney Hood

Current.

But all time is interesting too. UNC definitely is probably tough to beat - I’m sure they have a MLB player somewhere to fill out that trio.

Michigan would have a good one also. Barry Larkin or Jeter, Chris Webber, Tom Brady

These days it’s also hard to find elite basketball players....

Makes a current ranking tough.

Simply signing a letter of intent doesn't make you a former player.

Yes it is. Only six out of the top 20 position players with the most fWAR over the last two seasons attended college.
