Your MLB team 162-0?
Your NBA team 82-0?
Your NHL team 82-0?
Your NFL team 16-0?

All win their respective championships

I guess MLB just because it's so absurd. That's not to say the other sports have an easier time of it, but 162 wins? That just defies statistics.

With those given choices, I pick NFL simply because I'm a much bigger football fan than anything else, especially at the pro level. However, a perfect MLB season would be a vastly more impressive accomplishment.

I'm gonna say #1 is definitely impossible and #2 is damn near impossible.

Eta: Highest winning % ever 1906 Cubs @ .763. Did not win WS fwiw.

Only one of those is even possible out of the sheer number of games.

This. Here's a better question. What team record would you rather have?

NFL- 16 wins
MLB- 117 wins
NHL- 133 points
NBA- 73 wins

Team record?

NFL - perfect...that is recognizable and stands the test of time.

I bet most people didn't even know the record for baseball and some people only know the NBA record b/c of Jordan and recent talk about the Heat. Sports that have a ton of games, regular season win records don't jump off the page as memorable to the casual fan.
