Monty Stratton, Pitcher for the White Sox in the 1930's. He was an all star whose career was ended basically because he shot himself while hunting.

Ken Griffey Jr. imo would have gone down as the GOAT if not for the injuries.

Even with them, he still had 600+ HR, nearly 3,000 hits, tons of awards and was verrrrry nearly the first unanimously inducted HOFer.

Louisville fans remember " Never Nevrvous Pervis " Ellison? In the NBA he was " Out of Service" Pervis .

Legit 20/10 big man & good rim protector ,but injuries detailed him.

Tua Tagovailoa (senior season and career sec numbers)

Brodie Croyle would be a better QB from Bama to pick. Dude's knees were made of cardboard.

But he had all world talent, one of the best pure throwers of the ball I've ever watched. Just couldn't stay on the field long enough to develop his talent.

He was all world in highschool. Was the #1 QB for his class by a mile before tearing up his knee in high school.

I don't believe Bobby Hurley was destined for the hall of fame, but I would have loved to have seen his career without the devastating injuries he suffered in his car wreck.

LSU wise, Abram Booty was freshman all SEC and still holds multiple national high school receiving records. Dude was incredible. Pre injuries, he was also a fan favorite and his Jersey was the most popular among fans as well. I remember seeing more 88's than 3's even. Wish he could have stayed healthy and made a career of it.

If it wasn’t for injuries and a strike shortened season I think Ken Griffey Jr would of hit 1000 home runs.
