The quick twitch muscles and reflexes are not there for women.
I could get 1 steal and 1 block in an aau game.
Vs. DePaul women team i scrimmaged against, I could just take the ball if they put it in the floor.
I was asked to dial it back so they could run their plays.

I played a 1v1 game of 21 vs a Duke women's player a loong time ago. I was just a normal, semi-athletic white dude, but not good enough to make an Arkansas 5A high school team. She did score some on me, but I scored almost every time I had the ball.
When I had the ball, I knew what I was going to do and she knew what I was going to do. Essentially, I just ran around her for a layup. She could not do anything about it, I was just too quick. She wrecked me in a game of horse, though.
A good 3A Louisiana team would have their way with UCONN.

i've played against one of the top high school girl players in the country in the 2018 class (Crystian Williams) and a team full of christian williaims would destroy your avg male high school basketball team, she can fricking go.
i would say a top 10 or so high school type boys team like Chino hills who just hgas a a few guys that are just too big or a guy that they just can't physically match up with like the balls. but uconn would beat my old high school team by 20+ plus and we were like 3rd in state.

Am I the only one on this board that was an LSU student at the same time that Simone Augustus would come play basketball at the rec with all guys multiple times a week? Sure if she was open she could knock down a jump shot but she would regularly get owned by athletic guys that played football in high school.

There was a Reddit AMA with a guy who I believe played pickup games at UCONN's gym certain days of the week. I think he was a team manager or something. Anyways, he said they'd scrimmage UCONN's women's team and if I remember correctly, they'd demolish the the Geno's squad.

I think they are all guys who played high school basketball and who have a good enough basketball IQ to do what the coaches ask them to do so the women can have a structured group to go against. It's not just random dudes from the UREC who show up to play street ball

an elite high school men's team would be even money or better if you bet they could keep the girls on their side of the court the entire game
