Not like he didn't have talent around him. Remember when OKC was the future back when they lost to the Lakers in the first round years ago? They were the talk of the town--the future dominant organization.

Now, they are boink. One day I hope someone makes a documentary on the downfall of this once bright, promising future that could have been.

I know you're refencing Durant leaving, but how are you going to throw it all the way back to the Lakers' series and neglect to mention that they traded away Harden for basically nothing? Presti is at least equally at fault for them being in this position, even though I think he's mostly done a good/great job as a GM

So now it's Westbrooks fault that they traded Harden?

He is the thunder offense. The thunders only chance was Westbrook catching fire. You don't understand basketball

All very good players is a big stretch to me. MCdermott has not translated well from college, most people do not know who abrines is ( averages 6 ppg, and shoots below 40%), Sabonis is a rookie and I believe was seldom used in the series. I like the other guys, but Kanter is known as an absolutely terrible defender and doesn't get a ton of minutes for that reason

This is one reason why he's easy for people to dislike.

Idiot.

The only people that don't like Westbrook are Houston fans.

There isn't a whole lot of love between Westbrook and anyone on that team other than harden. Had he stayed to say anything, it would have been a bunch of "frick offs."

Not what he's been doing, that's for sure.

When you're taking a test and you identify the obviously wrong answer, do you pick it anyway?

Hero ball is the wrong answer in today's NBA.

We all know Westbrook has wanted the shine for a while now. Now he has it, he doesn't get excuses. That's part of having the shine.

DBF, why do act like someone insulted your mother if they say anything at all positive about Westbrook? The Rockets won the series and are a much better team, but you have to act like Russ is the Antichrist. I don't understand why people like you can't root for your team and still have objective opinions on things.

he never had the team accomplishments, at least he gets the stats now

They won the West with a pretty loaded roster. He slowly chased that talent out of OKC and now they're barely a playoff team. They were one win away from winning the west a year ago.

I think the Thunder should have given Mcdermott more minutes this series. Outside of Russ, he seems like the best 3 point shooter they have and it seemed like everytime he would start to heat up they would take him out to put in Roberson to guard Harden. Mcdermott is at least a shooter that you have to account for on defense which would space the floor more.

I also don't feel like the offense they run gets Adams involved enough.

He went 1-4 because his team was pathetic when he was off the court. Not really sure his answer is all that wrong. When he was on the court, the Thunder outscored Houston in 4 of the 5 games.
