The firing of two longtime exec over scouting. Broadcaster for the past 16 years suddenly retires. And Snyder suddenly willing to change name abruptly should tell everyone something bad was about to come down. The Cheerleader thing is mentioned as well as certain people on the team exchanging sexual favors with reporters for news. I remember the GM,s wife 5 years ago accusing one female reporter of this and having to publicly apologize to her and it may have been true.

Washington/Snyder have hired a big time D.C. attorney to do a review of the entire franchise and all of its apparent conduct issues. I read that this attorney represented several Hillary Clinton aids during the FBI probe into the Clinton email server.

1. They hate the name change on principle and want out.
2. Some really bad shite is about to come out and they don’t want anything to do with it.
3. They had been planning to sell anyways. It’s purely a financial decision that has absolutely nothing to do with 1 or 2.
