that waxing in the final four hurt bad. I had convinced myself we could really win the title then we go out and do that. also the wisc sweet 16 beat down stung for a while.
the worst in basketball might be fricking uab running us out the gym

its really hard to pick bt those games. wisc got away with murder and that was the only way they win, the final four so close and i honestly think we would have got uf finally, then the uab game: i didn't expect that team to make a deep run but jesus being down like 30 to uab sucked cock

The whole 2006 NFC Championship game between the Saints and Bears was pretty bad. But the one play that hurt me the most was when Colston fumbled and lost the ball around the 50. If I'm not mistaken the Saints were down 16-14 and we were driving. Then a Chicago DB strips Colston, we lose all momentum and CHI scores 23 unanswered.

the tuck rule that robbed my raiders. i remember being depressed forever after that, we might have won it that year

Let me preface this by saying that I'm a Pittsburgh Pirates fan...a fan of a franchise that hasn't had a winning season in 17 years, and counting.
Having said that, my worst sports moment: Bottom 9, Game 7, 1992 NLCS. Sid Bream, who couldn't outrun my grandmother w/ her walker, scores the pennant-winning run from second when that douche, Barry fricking Bonds couldn't gun him down at the plate on what amounted to a single to deep short. Bonds left for SF in the post-season and I've hated the prick ever since.

Just a few:
1) Losing at home to Arkansas for the first time since 1993 at the end of the 07 season when it seemed like it was going to cost us the MNC
2) LSU coughing up a 16-7 lead against Alabama in 1998 with an onside kick and another tipped pass to extend UA's undefeated streak in Tiger Stadium that dated to 1969
3) Being a Saints fan, it's hard to make any comprehensive list, but the Vikings and Bears games this year and the Jags game in 03 stand out
4) Memphis coughs up a 9 pt lead to Kansas in last year's NCAA title game and doesn't foul Chalmers before he can shoot a buzzer beater.
5) The entire 1999 LSU football season, particularly getting mushroom stamped at home by Houston, Ole Miss, and Auburn (and the whole cigar thing)
6) Losing at home to mediocre Ole Miss and Tubbs 35-21 at home the week after ending #1 Florida's huge SEC winning streak in 1997.
7) The Katrina Game

Another bad memory:
Robert Horry hitting the game winning 3 in Game 4 of the WC finals. The Kings were up 2-1 in that series. If they had won Game 4, they would have been in the driver's seat to get to the finals as Game 5 would be in Sacramento. But, of course, that clutch POS nailed the trey. I remember my head just dropping after seeing that.
