I actually think that makes it even more badass.

Knowing that Clay (as he was called at the time) is saying "Get up and fight, sucker!" is fricking awesome.

Another pretty memorable one

Kellen Winslow having to be carried off the field after one of the most exhausting games in NFL history.

The absolute greatest 2:24 minutes in sports.

I still say his move in the first turn at the Preakness was more impressive as he was flying past fresh horses.

Yeah that's what his biographer would agree to.

Secretariat broke dead last in the Derby and again dead last in the Preakness.

But went from dead last to first in about 5 seconds.

40 other players were on the field for as many plays as Winslow and he was the only one that couldn't hold his mud. fricking drama queen.

I'll be damned if he doesn't actually look like Gary Cooper the actor who played him in "The Pride of the Yankees".

If I didn't know any better, you could have told me that they were brothers and I wouldn't have gave it second thought.

Ehh, there is no way to tell if that punch caught him or not b/c the camera is behind Liston when it goes down. Also, Liston was way past him prime at that point and Ali had already made him quit once before. Liston was lunging forward when the punch was thrown so it's conceivable that it really did catch him just right.
