A coach Like Nick Saban, Not Nick Saban himself. his no BS attitude and strictly business sense way of doing things would benefit PSU extremely well now that the Penalties have been levied. The only problem I see is who else is Like him enough in demeanor and respect to pull it off. your thoughts or flames...whatevs

It's going to be tough for anyone to convince recruits to play for them given that they have no chance of post season and are limited on schollies...with that said I think someone who is as respected as Saban would give them their best chance of pulling in recruits...but again given the damaged reputation and the shitty state they are in, I don't think many big time coaches or recruits are going to want to head to Happy Valley for several years.

Yes, Nick Saban. He always asks permission from the school administration and athletic director on matters concerning the football program.

There isn't a single coach in the country that can fix the shite they are currently sitting in.

At this point you, just have to worry about doin the right thing and not giving up in ball games. It's gonna be brutal for a long time. Very unfortunate for the fans.

Do you think any of the PSU grad will come in and coach? I will be honest with you. I was glad to see that area of penn state get carpet bombed. Now that the problem is gone, I want to see them turn it into a model for College football. But in all honestly it will take the coming of god to do it without a premier head coach, and a moral one that everyone knows is moral to a fault. Sorry Petrino you are off the Island.

No one can fix this now. Like a hangover the only cure is to move on from Joe Pa era and into the Penn State era.

This ain't a fairytale. You either get down and play with the big boys or you get comfortable maxing out at mediocre.

This. Right now they can't really attract top recruits and I'm sure they've lost a bunch of donors. Over time people will stop holding this against the university and they will attract recruits and donors again.

I think they need someone more like Miles, I don't even know whoelse is like Les but they need someone that wants to be there. They need someone that is easy to like and easy to get along with.

Saban or someone similar is not the right guy. it's going to be a rough time, why put up with a dickhead micromanaging a-hole?
