Callaway would have been a 1st round pick if he wasn't a dumbass.

He's the best WR in this draft class.

He went 11-20 against second team starters running a vanilla defense

He looked good, but let’s slow down on putting him in Canton just yet.

He also needs to be humble as all hell. If he starts doing all the shenanigans he did at Oklahoma he will fail miserably

That has nothing to do with whether he'll be good or not.

Well thanks!

That's my entire contribution for this thread, I'll see myself out.

He's a 6-foot tall former Big 12 QB that will likely be a solid NFL starter provided his supporting cast and coaching doesn't implode around him. His physical attributes are decent, but his instincts seem really good. His personality and work ethic are TBD.

His ceiling is on the low-end for a 1st overall pick, but his floor is pretty high.

The thing that caught my attention was comments about he worked through his progressions. I didn't see the game so I'm trusting what I read on twitter.

That's a big deal if true. A rookie in his first action that stayed calm and worked through progressions instead of acting like a deer caught in the headlights and staring down a receiver is as good as you can hope for.

Both of these are already fleshed out.

His personality is what it is. He is a fantastic leader and his teammates universally love him, even if he can be brash sometimes.

He is a known hard worker.

You just say this stuff to try to sound smart or what?

He anticipates throws well, can move through progressions and has great instincts. On the negative side some of those throws seem to have a lot of air on them... my guess is that he will struggle with interceptions.

I thought he looked fine. Nothing crazy or anything. And for those saying he was 11/20, he was really probably 13/20, as i remember at least two straight up drops. We gotta stop with these Brees comparisons though lol.

Josh Allen was the guy who surprised me however. I actually thought he played much better than the stats would indicate.

I think he'll be a good NFL QB.

Don't put much stock in preseason stats though.
