Football: Army as they have a storied past and you want both Army and Navy to be the best teams out there.
Basketball: Fordham or LIU-Brooklyn. Just think having a team in NYC brings excitement to the game and some extra exposure to the game.

I would love to see army just get back to being competitive and going to some bowls. Maybe win a few ARMY/Navy games here and there.
I always cheer for them especially when the rest of college football is full of "Last chance U's"

Virginia in football. There is a ton of talent in the tidewater region of Virginia, and even more alumni money.
The only thing holding them back is the administration. If someone can get the administration committed to football success then the sky is the limit for that program.
Bronco Mendenhall is a good coach but it remains to be seen how good of a fit he is on the east coast.

Northwestern basketball.
Colorado football and I hate to say it but a very good Tulane football team would only do good things for the sport in Louisiana.

UAB football. Staring next year anyway. Would be good to see them rise from the dead after the Bammers tried to knock them off.

Probably Miami
In recent decades they've been entertaining and added spice and excellence to the college football scene. And coke. And hookers.

Rutgers is the birthplace of college football so it would be cool to see Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State coming to Rutgers being huge games and the New York metropolitan area is an untapped market for college football. I know there are a lot of Notre Dame and Michigan fans in NYC but in the least RU should be New York's big ten team.
In basketball I would say Marquette. If you remember the glory days they were a good place to see basketball and Badger fans are horrible people so it would be cool to see MU dominate college basketball in Wisconsin.

Yeah, I don't like that little punk Woj, but it would be cool to see that program do well. I never understood why Buzz left, other than he guessed wrong about the effect of conference realignment on Big East basketball.

Either college football or college basketball. Who would you pick and why?
I thought for sure this was a thread about the Saints.

If Illinois can ever get their shite together i think they could turn into a powerhouse.

I think UCF and USF have ridiculous potential for football.
i'm assuming you think this because they are located in the state of Florida. I don't think their potential is that great because they have no real history and lack large fan interest or alumni backing. and there are an awful lot of schools heavily recruiting the florida market with all three of those ingrediants only 3 which are florida based. there just aren't enough top athletes left after these teams have nabbed the best ones for UCF and USF to sign top classes year after year.

Purdue football. They have a budget.

Colorado
This easily.
It's such a beautiful stadium and backdrop and one of the best ever places to road trip.
Would be awesome if they had big games there again.
Colorado is one of the best states in the Union...maybe #1 in terms of natural beauty. Wyoming and Washington and Utah are up there of course.

Not really a bottom feeder but I'd have Georgia basketball in the final four every other year. So much talent in the city
