You can argue everyone at this point has good pitching.
I assumed common sense was being used here and we were talking relative to the rest of the field.

So tell me all knowing master of T-ball; How does a team make it to the CWS on one guys arm?
Insults aside, were you under a rock during regionals and super regionals? Did you see how stanford used their pitchers? Do you know the stats of their arms for the season?

Reminds of the year Coastal Carolina beat us in the Supers and went on to win the whole thing because he was able to save other arms in his rotation.
As far as the stats season goes doesn’t matter. It’s how teams do in the second season.

I think Stanford used up all their lives last night. Good team but make a ton of mental mistakes.

Probably not that high.
Wake Forest has the better pitching and offense. Plus, while Stanford has been to Omaha the last two years, they've dropped their opener both times and are 1-4 overall in that span.
Conventional wisdom says Wake Forest rolls the trees, which means Stanford probably wins by 10.

What % chance would you give Stanford when they play Wake on Saturday?
50% + 1

Wake has lost 10 games all year. 7 of those losses have come on the road.
They are 29-3 at home and 16-7 on the road.
I could be wrong, but I think they struggle at TD Ameritrade.

Their offense will take a hit for sure going from that high school park to Chuck Schwab, but double edged sword because their pitching could be even more dominant in that park.

Stanford is going to get abused.

Stanford has about the same chance of beating Wake as there is chance to rain in Tiger Stadium on Saturday nights in the fall. They were gifted that win against texas. Wake is playing incredible right now.

Their pitching is actually worse away from home as well, which is a bit counterintuitive given the small park they play in. They have a team ERA of 4.04 on the road. Their overall ERA is 2.84.

Stanford can hit top to bottom. Good chance ...

Stanford’s pitching is unreal.
You serious? Their team ERA is 5.75.
