Not that I disagree with his religious take, but this is hilarious

Aaron Rodgers has been estranged from his family members for years, and now they are reportedly appalled by comments he previously made about his religious upbringing
It’s a good thing for him that he doesn’t give a frick about them or what they think.

And his family is "dismayed" at his recent comments regarding religion and his worldview and not how they brought him up.
I come from a very religious upbringing and I and all my siblings are now atheists. But my parents haven't disowned any of us. They told us believe in what you want to. Sounds like Rodger's family are the nutjobs.

God forbid someone have differing views from southern Christians
Posted on 1/23/20 at 1:40 pm to lsutiger2010
Yeah, because people that are assholes 6 days a week but consider themselves great people because they go to church for an hour on Sunday are the best kind of people.
That’s what he means. And he obviously doesn’t think that’s everyone. It’s almost certainly a dig at his family.

From reading this site, if you have a differing opinion on ANYTHING, you're a trashy thug poor beta cuck SJW gay liberal. There's no in between.

Who does this fricking guy think he is forming his own beliefs and not just going off of what he was told when he believed in Santa Claus?

Rodgers reportedly stopped communicating with his family near the end of 2014, around the time he began dating actress Olivia Munn.
Munn has become a SJW zealot as she aged out of Hollywood. No surprise she was a catalyst. Megan Markal type, golddigger, status seeker.

The horror. We can't have people feeling good about themselves.
Throughout history, it has been the religious types wanting to control how everyone else feels/thinks, not the other way around

Who gives a shite what Aaron Rogers thinks?
Posted on 1/23/20 at 1:54 pm to Jack Ruby
I don't believe in God but I intentionally don't let my family know to keep a good relationship with them. Some things aren't worth losing loved ones over. Aaron never learned that.

I don’t understand why people care what he thinks about religion. He’s an athlete. He’s not preaching his beliefs to you. He just stated how he feels. There’s no proof of God’s existence. It’s called faith for a reason. We believe because we have faith. Don’t fault someone because they don’t believe. It’s not very Christian
Posted on 1/23/20 at 1:57 pm to DrSteveBrule
I mean, if your family would disown you because of your personal beliefs, that’s a pretty shitty family.
My family is super Baptist and no one openly cares that I’m not religious.
Probably helps that I’m still a conservative though

I took it to mean people feel better about their purpose and their mortality and other things out of their control. That religion evolved as a means to explain nature's mysteries, allay fears, and confront death.

Hate to break it to you, friend, but I don't think I practice or participate in the religion or sect that you think I do.
