I really don't. I've been sucking arse lately, (mostly because of a move from Baton Rouge), but am starting to play better now.
I'd hit in the mid 80's mostly. But the last two months I've had a string of rounds in the 90's.

See, that's what I'm talking about. Solid advice.

are all those rounds from the tips? I'm about in the same situation. I had one 80 a few weeks ago at a different course that was longer but far more generous with the fairways. I've been between 82-86 for a month with a 90 two days ago. lulz.

Yeah, but that's because I'm pretty good with a mid iron distance. Not intimidated by long iron shots...

Been mid-80s as well but last two rounds have been pretty poor with a 92 and a 103. Old Waverly tore me to pieces.
Haven't played since Tuesday so some time off will help hopefully.

I'm not intimidated by any shot, I just can't execute any of them

I'm gonna make my comeback at Old Sienna with Ryno next week.
I'll post after the round. Gonna be in the 80's, or I take the rest of the summer off to fish full time.

kbdos is thinking about it too. Maybe we'll get a group together.

Here's a rules issue that came up this week that I wanted the opinion of the golf board. I hit my tee shot down the right tree line on a hole, and I lose it coming down never seeing it land. The group behind me is coming up the fairway on the adjacent hole that runs parallel in the opposite direction (i.e. the green is next to the tee box I just teed off from). That group plays their second shots before my group gets to the fairway. I look for my ball, and can't find it. After a few minutes, I go back to the tee and replay the shot under the lost ball rules. After I tee off, a member of the group behind me now on the green realizes he played my ball by mistake. I know he gets a 2 shot penalty. My question is:
1) Since I've already put a 2nd ball in play, am I SOL, or can I go replace my original ball without penalty?
2) Does the other guy just add 2 strokes to his score or does he have to go replay the hole with his ball? Assume he's already holed out before he realizes his mistake.

I've got to run to B.R. in the morning and grab a patio table set. It's the only thing left at my old house left to grab. I wanna be back here by 11 a.m.
Were ya gonna hit before that?

I think he takes 2 and you are SOL because you declared your ball lost

Maybe a twilight time would be better anyway heat-wise.

I'm doing a thousand pushups and situps all week to prepare.

Had you hit a provisional to begin with IDK what the rule would be. But I'm almost sure he just adds 2 to his score. Once you declare lost there aint no going back

Yea, that's the way I played it. I just wasn't sure if the special circumstances would permit me to go back and replace my original ball. Probably not though.

If he realized his mistake before you hit your tee shot, I would think your original tee shot could be replaced, you hit your 2nd with no penalty, and he still takes his penalty obviously
