My driver failed me this past weekend at la tour. 
Mix that with the heat and it made for a long two rounds. I get a little tight for those tournaments and try to guide my drive which usually turns into bad tempo and a push or push slice.
Also realized that I'm Out of shape. Rejoined the gym today and taking a few weeks from playing any rounds.

My wife got these for me
I shot 88 @ Atchafalaya last Friday, they had just punched the greens Tuesday. They were sandy as hell
Plan to play 9 or 18 Wednesday
Can't play this coming weekend, have to go out of town for an engagement party

1. Can you play off of turf that makes the tapestries of the Far East look like Perque carpet?
2. The stimp meter was created to test greens. La Tour's greens were created to test the stimp meter. Can you putt on your car's hood?
3. Do you weigh 150 or more? because things that are not heavy or bolted down may become airborne at La Tour with winds regularly surpassing gale force on calm days

Played on fathers day in Crowley and ruined a good round out of sheer stupidity. On #9 par 5 hit a good drive and said before I pulled the club that I should lay up. Then talked myself out of it because where is the fun in laying up? Hit a 3 wood in the trees and ended up with a triple. Get to 12 a 290 yard par 4 that is narrow and has bunkers in the front and both sides of the green. I never, NEVER hit driver on that hole, but I had been hitting it good so I tried it. Pulled it, hit a tree ended up with a +5 on the hole. Made a birdie late to keep it at a 41-48 for an 89. And still kicking myself in the arse because of those 2 holes

I also have the choice of a 4 man scramble at bayou bend or a skeet shoot Saturday morning. I have no team for the scramble so I would just show up. An my company is gonna pay the way for the skeet shoot. Sounds to me like I'm wasting shells instead of golf balls this weekend. I'm equally bad at both

Try to hit them in middle of your stance. I had a terrible time duck hooking my 15 and 18 degree before moving them back.

Yea the easy fix is to center it in your stance, open the clubface a tad and elongate that outside swing.
