Shot my best round in a long time today at Cypress lakes, birdied 18 to shoot 79. Decided to play smart old man golf, keep it in play and chip n putt. The 2 20 somethings i played with were not happy since they were out driving me by a bunch but both put up scores in the 90's

I'm gonna use that strategy. It'll be in a few years, but I've always thought about adopting it now since it's in inevitable I'll be playing that game soon enough.

I should do it all the time but sometimes the temptation to try to blast it takes over.

Pretty bad 92. Couldn't quite dial my driver back in. Left, right, pull, slice, hook. Hopefully she'll come around. I had a few nice ones I got a hold of.

Rain interrupted 82 at the Island from the tips. Hit 11 fairways and only two greens officially.

Ended up playing diamondhead cc. Nice little track. Greens were in great shape. Little slow but fair. I shot 78. No birdies. I need to start making some of these 10-12 foot birdies.

Cardinal or Pine? I usually don't do well on the Pine's back 9, number 10 usually starts the shite storm. Similar to number 11 at the Bridges.

It's a good day to sneak onto a closed course and aim for the middle of the greens with no pins. That's my plan for after work
