take 311 down to 90 and head west for about 20-25 minutes. it's a nice course but kind of quirky. clubhouse is ridiculous

Shot 92 yesterday. Had a legit 280 yard drive on a par 5. itwas awesome. Proceeded to get a fricking 7 haha.
Realized I left my debit card at the proshop, so I'm heading back out there and might as well play another round haha

I wish atchafalaya had latour greens.Or I wish latour had atchafalaya clubhouse. 
from my house in thibodaux atchafalaya is 30-40 min. Not a bad run. Don't know why I don't do it more.

i know why I don't. the last few times I have been to atchafalaya, the condition has been hit or miss. looks like they gave up on the back of #2 green. that combined with the quirky holes means I only play there when invited or when Ellendale and LaTour are booked. If LaTour builds a clubhouse like Atchafalaya it's no contest

i don't normally rave about clubhouses either, but Atchafalaya's fits in to the landscape and was really well done. and it's not your standard white plantation looking clubhouse. LaTour is operating out of a temporary 4-wide and is really the only knock against the place besides no gps

I played there in a tourney about a month ago on a Sunday.I rolled up and they had a huge group eating lunch and I was like "frick yeah..I'll get to eat something decent after my round.."
Rolled back in around 4:30 and the kitchen was closed. frick that clubhouse.
