I'd give my left nut to be able to fire a 73 every round.

Kudos to you weave and I know that all my hard work will pay off eventually... Shot 80 twice but still haven't broke 80 yet.... My goal is to do it by the end of the calendar year

Does one need to nut up to shoot 89?

My last four scores are 74, 73, 72, and 73. I don't think I've ever been that consistent, given that I don't get enough reps in to quantify it. I just picked up the clubs again in March

I've never broken 70 at Sherwood, but if it makes you feel any better, I shot 66 with BeaverPro not too long ago

If I can get past #6 at LaTour on Saturday with a 6 or less I should have a shot. That hole eats my lunch. Last two rounds - quad, quad

We want one more kid, so I'm cool in the 90's for now. I could part with one after that though

Anyway to get fitted for free? Our big specialty store here charges $100 for an hour fitting.

you get what you pay for. I personally would not spend any money on a fitting that was not outdoors on a range. If I cant see the actual flight it does no good. Fittings with trackman and outdoor range are a must.

I have never been fitted, but I would agree with this. I don't trust the readings on some of the indoor machines

and a testicle apparently. I'll have to ask my GF if I can have one back to trade for a lower score.

I broke 90 once with an 87, but I don't count it. It was a very short course and was playing like a rock. I think I do have the game to get into the low 80's from 6700 yards or less, but I am too inconsistent and can't fight back if I don't get off to a decent start. I still feel like on the round where it all comes together I will be in the lower 80's. Hopefully that starts soon.

Yeah, I rarely have a legit birdie opportunity to make up for my blow up holes. I am def not anywhere near low 80s, but after last weekend I am a lot more confident that breaking 90 is in the not too distant future. Just got to keep practicing the short game. I only had 1 3-putt, and several good lag putts since I was able to actually fricking chip and pitch the ball onto the green, albeit not always close to the pin. Also, i didn't have any close putts go in last weekend. Several were count-hair close to going in for par.

I'm looking to get a round in Thursday morning at Santa Maria... Due to my lack of playing partners, i'll be flying solo. Is this frowned upon?

I just made up my mind that I am busting through the 90 barricade on Saturday morning. I will commit to every shot and not compound my errors. I will report back Saturday evening and you can all heap praise upon me.
