I trade my 14 greens, 38 putts, 79 with someone.

Turned a really good round into a horrific one every time I took the putter out of the bag. Made 1 putt outside of 3ft

This is the first time I counted putts in a round...26.

However, I probably hit half the greens you did and was fortune to make most of the putts

I agree with most of that review

The course is nice but it is not THAT great ... It's probably in the top 25 in the state .. Fun track to play once in awhile for sure

yeah, but bitching about the wind on a links course? and I don't care what that guy says, those greens are as good as or better than any others I have played in LA. I will guve him the crap cart paths (which will be fixed at some point) and the trailer clubhouse (which is temporary), but this guy thought he was going to be playing Pebble Beach for $65

Well the Covington Country Club sucked balls. Facility was shite, the tee boxes were shite and the greens has GUR areas. THE GREENS! I am a long hitter and this course is one that would never EVER suit my game.......... well cross that one off the list.

Really? That sucks. I'm playing there for a scramble some guys from work are having in 2 weeks.

If you are a short hitter and like tight fairways .... have a blast. Hell some of the lay up positions you better be ready to be left of trees you can't see and so forth. I consistently drive 300-325 and hit a 3W 265-275. On some holes I was trying to hit irons on par 4s just to have a decent lay up yardage.

I'm not bragging or boasting, I am merely stating why this course was not a good fit. My length sometimes leads me to my weakness which is 85 yards and in .... call it what you wish.
