Something about the Adams drivers annoys me. I can't really put my finger on it, but they aren't a good looking club imo

It's sad, the TM influence. They used to put out some beautiful classic looking drivers. I'm still baggin the 9064ls. WIsh i would of picked up a spare one when they were $120.

A few years ago I was in a pawn shop and there was a set of clubs for $25 which had a vokey wedge so I bought them and stuck them in my garage. Well 2 months ago I lost my 60 which was my money club out bunkers. Went to the vokey 58 from pawn shop. New grip, new shaft cleaned it up a bit and holy shite that thing feels so good. I was so mad when I lost my 60 but now I could not be happier.

Pissed they went with a white head. Their classic look was great.

Taylor Made owns Adams. What else do you expect?

I don't think it's the white head or graphics so much, just something about the shape of their clubs doesn't work for me

Anyone played Fallen Oak or the Preserve lately?

Playing them on Thursday and Friday. Just wondering what kind of condition they are in. I'm assuming they are in great shape this time of year.

I have heard amazing things about this track. Everyone I know who has played says its immaculate and is a very fair course with a great layout. Think you have to be guest at the Beau though to play.

I just replaced it a few months ago with a Titleist 910D2... might go back to the Adams, great club.

I have tried every hybrid out and I have not found one that gives better results then the adams for me. Its a great club from 230-240 range and can just make it fall out of the sky. I do switch this out with a taylormade 09 tp 2U driving iron. Its great for narrow holes on a dry day about 220 carry with about 20 yds of roll.

Where would be a good spot to get one these new? I'm sure Watts and Dicks only have the new models out and all the ones on Amazon are used.

Anybody get the new Golf Digest? They had a page about us open qualifier courses that they recommend people play. The Bluffs was listed as one of the 5 or 6 courses they mentioned.

Beaver, they also had a footnote at the bottom that Beaver Creek was a worthy recommendation as well!! Movin on up

I've got a hookup, so that's not necessary.

I've heard their service is excellent.

These are fun to watch. 120 guys fighting for maybe 10 spots at a large section and if you do not score 66 or lower you can forget about it.

But I was wrong.
