Loyola - Chicago
Saint Peter's
Gonzaga
Creighton
Georgetown
Just to name a few. It's really interesting to me how over the years, the small Jesuit schools have had so much success in basketball.
Wonder why this is.

San Francisco lost to Murray State.
St Louis U got bounced in the first round of the NIT.
Boston College exists.

Most of the Jesuit schools are central in big metro areas with good recruiting.
Gonzaga and Creighton are outliers there.

They have the greater glory of God on their side.

I think Xavier and Marquette may be in there.

Small school/non-"P5" success and contention is what makes CBB great and sets it apart from CFB.

Nope.
Two of the greatest Catholic mysteries will only be known once you enter the Kingdom.
1. How many different branches of Franciscans/Capuchins actually exist.
2. How much money do the Jesuits REALLY have.

Omaha metro is >1 million people. How is that not a large metro area?

Providence College is a Catholic Dominican run college making a pretty good basketball run.

Remember, Rick Pitino started at Providence, they have been fairly consistent ever since.

They would each win two tournaments, but the guy on the right repeated first.

With the facilities, budget, and recruiting base they have, SLU should now be better than they've been lately. Ford's seat should be getting warm.

See your SLU and raise you the sad decline of Depaul. They haven't even made the NIT in 15 years. Granted, they definitely do not have the facilities or budget.
