Refs definitely needed to call what Bogut did, and players in general do to Dwight. At the same time, he just can't respond like that. Players know how easy it is to get in Dwight's head and they go after it.

Pushing and shoving under the basket doesn't give him free reign to throw elbows and punches to player's faces.

Absolutely. And people say it always gets physical, but I really have never seen anyone get assaulted like Howard does down there. Not even Yao.
